The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) recently awarded Visionary Consulting Partners, LLC a contract to provide Child Waiting Room Services for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia (USAO-DC).  The award supports the DOJ’s ongoing commitment to protect federal crime victims and provide services in accordance with the Victims’ Right and Restitution Act (VRRA).  Visionary will provide specific support to children who come to the USAO-DC as victims or witnesses to a crime, are present to attend meetings with a prosecutor or USAO-DC staff, are scheduled to testify before the Superior Court Grand Jury, or simply accompanying parents or caretakers.  Our consultants will facilitate the programs developed by the USAO-DC to maintain a “child-friendly” environment that is supervised, safe, and appropriate for several different age groups of children.
