Ms. Eleanor “Ellie” Thornton served on the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s Corporate Executive Council, which was comprised of a select group of business leaders who worked to expand awareness of the Prevent Cancer Foundation and its life saving messages of cancer prevention and early detection. She remains committed to the Foundation as an advisor, and connector.

The Prevent Cancer Foundation is the only U.S. nonprofit solely focused on the prevention and early detection of cancer.  Since its founding in 1985, the Foundation’s four pillars have been research, education, community outreach and advocacy.  A national organization, which is investing globally as well, mission is to Stop Cancer Before It Starts!
