THE CRISIS IN BLACK EDUCATION
In celebration of Black History Month, Mike and Eleanor (Ellie) Thornton were invited by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to speak on the topic of “The Crisis in Black Education,” at the 2017 African American Heritage Month event held at the Eisenhower Conference Center as part of an initiative sponsored by the SBA Office of Diversity, Inclusion & Civil Rights, and also the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH).
