Ms. Ellie Thornton is a member of the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s Corporate Executive Council, which is comprised of a select group of business leaders.  Its mission is to expand awareness of the Prevent Cancer Foundation and its life saving messages of cancer prevention and early detection. The Prevent Cancer Foundation is the only U.S. nonprofit solely focused on the prevention and early detection of cancer.  Since its founding in 1985, the Foundation has invested over $140million in support of cancer prevention research, education, outreach and advocacy programs nationwide, and has played a pivotal role in developing a body of knowledge that is the basis for important prevention and early detection strategies
