In keeping with our goal to promote optimal health while transforming lives, Visionary Consulting Partners, LLC was proud to participate in the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s 5k Walk/Run that took place on Sunday October 4th 2015 at Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals. The 2015 5k Walk/Run is an unofficial 5k route that took participants around the beautiful Capitol Riverfront area with a start/finish inside Nationals Park.
The overall mission of the Prevent Cancer Foundation is saving lives through cancer prevention and early detection. The Foundation focuses its resources on cancers such as breast, cervical, colorectal, lung, oral, prostate, skin and testicular that can prevented through lifestyle changes or early detection and treatment. In addition to these 8 cancers there are many other preventable cancers like anal, endometrial, head and neck, oral, penile, throat and vulvar cancers.
The Foundation has invested $138 million in research, education, advocacy and community outreach programs nationwide in support of our mission of saving lives through cancer prevention and early detection.
