VISIONARY CELEBRATES GRADUATION FROM THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA) 8(A) PROGRAM

November 2, 2021

Visionary Consulting Partners, LLC (Visionary) is proud to announce our recent graduation from the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program. The SBA 8(a) Program offers a broad scope of assistance to firms that are owned and controlled at least 51% by socially and economically disadvantaged professionals– thus providing an essential instrument for helping socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs gain access to the economic mainstream of American society. Under the program, Visionary has experienced notable growth and achievements within the small business community. This growth reflects our long-standing commitment to improving health and transforming lives. Our portfolio has increased to include certifications and designations including the SBA Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB); SBA Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB); CVE Certified Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); Small, Women, and Minority-Owned (SWAM) (Virginia); Veterans Institute for Procurement.; Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA); Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA); Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE); and Duns & Bradstreet (D&B).

During Visionary’s tenure within the SBA 8(a) program, we also advanced our corporate contract vehicles to include General Services Administration (GSA) Professional Services Schedule (PSS) SIN 874-4 and 874-7, along with IT Schedule 70 SIN 132-51 and 132-56; Department of Navy SeaPort Enhanced Zones 1-7; and Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3). Attainment of our certifications and contract vehicles have translated into increased revenues and services provided to over 20 clients throughout the United States and Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Our portfolio growth is directly related to successfully maturing the number and scope of professional services that the company offers to the firm’s customers to include eight (8) core competencies in the competitive areas of chronic disease management, health information technology, program and project management, services integration and consolidation, organizational development, executive and administrative support, procurement support and staff augmentation. Most recently, we expanded our capabilities to include Initial Outfitting, Transition and Activation (IOT&A) and Concept of Operations Development (CONOPS) for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Child Waiting Room Services for the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Under the 8(a) program, Visionary maintained a recognized and highly respected industry and business community presence. Our corporate beliefs and practices are rooted in our desire to give back to the sectors of society that are historically underserved. Our extensive experience and capabilities are proven and referenceable; and, our reputation for successfully developing and implementing comprehensive and innovative strategies for our clients remains unparalleled. Visionary will remain a supporter and of the SBA’s many programs, as we know the value, support, and opportunity for growth this designation provides to the small business community.
