AMERICAN PUBLIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION (APHA)
Drawing from her 20 plus years working in asthma case management and developing training curriculums that have positively impacted patient outcomes,and also led to counselors becoming board certified asthma educations (AE-C) – Eleanor Thornton, M.S., MCHES, AE-C, along with Claire Hayes, MPH, CHES, AE-C and Suzanne Kennedy, PhD, submitted an abstract (#334867) and was selected to present their cutting edge scientific research at the 143th APHA Annual Meeting and Exposition Conference in Chicago, IL (October 31st-Novermber 4th) – Session 3183: Public Health Leadership and Education Models (ID=43667), scheduled for Monday, November 2nd from 10:30am-Noon. The abstract is titled – Asthma Counselor Training In Vulnerable Environments: Adapting and implementing a successful evidence-based model.
